Callum Gilbert competed at his first ever Olympic Games at Tokyo 2020 and is on the hunt for a second Olympic selection at Paris 2024 in the new Olympic event of Kayak Cross. Plagued by acute illness just days before his men's K1 event in Tokyo, Gilbert finished the games in 24rd place.
